Our studio offers diverse yoga classes, from Vinyasa Flow to Sound Healing, welcoming practitioners of all levels to improve their health and wellness with the guidance of our certified instructors.
YOGA & FITNESS OFFERINGS

Indulge in a 35-40 minute Restorative Yoga session, followed by 15 minutes of harmonious sound healing through the mesmerizing tones of Tibetan bowls applied to the body. Conclude with an additional 15 minutes of serene sound healing and meditation to rejuvenate your mind and body. This is a donation based offering. Please contribute what you can toward the class. Thank you.

Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic and balanced practice that blends strength-building and muscle-stretching elements. As the class progresses, the instructor will guide you through a series of flowing sequences, designed to target specific muscle groups. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace and listen to their bodies. Modifications and variations are provided to accommodate different fitness levels, ensuring that everyone can find their challenge and growth edge. The class concludes with a soothing cool-down, incorporating deeper stretches and relaxing poses.

Sound healing is a form of meditation used along with crystal, alchemy, and metal Tibetan singing bowls. Sometimes bowls are played on a person’s belly or back, other times we listen to the bowls and a guided meditation. Come join us for an hour of sound bath and healing. Bring anything that will make your experience more comfortable such as eye masks, blankets, or pillows. We have complimentary yoga mats, blocks, blankets, and bolsters that are available for use at the studio. This is a donation based offering. Please contribute what you can toward the class. This practice provides a supportive environment to build strength, flexibility, and stamina. With guidance, you'll explore foundational poses, gentle stretches, and mindful breathing techniques. Yoga 101 is your gateway to a more balanced and mindful yoga practice.

A focus on total body fitness - using your own body weight and minimal equipment such as free weights and resistance bands. You will target the heart rate with cardio, strengthen your core with balance exercises, and build muscle with power moves like push ups and squats.

The MATS is out in the community offering different Yoga offerings. You can find us on a regular basis at one of the many San Mateo County Libraries, where we offer Yoga and Sound Healing. We have also traveled on-site to businesses and offered Yoga (and Sound Healing) as a group company team building experience. Mindful Movement Yoga is designed to begin with a Dharma talk, exploring a key yoga philosophy during meditation to ground the mind. Then, through pranayama (breathing exercises), we’ll center ourselves and cultivate a calm, focused state. The asana practice will guide you through mindful movement, carefully exploring each pose with intention, feeling how your body responds, and making adjustments to balance effort and ease. This gentle, therapeutic class welcomes all levels, with props and variations to support your unique needs. This is a donation-based offering—please give what you can to support the class.
